The Process
From the first conversation to the finished design
You don’t need to have every detail worked out before we begin. You may have a clear idea of what you want or absolutely no idea at all, a space that isn’t working as it should, or a sense that it could become something much more considered.
My role is to bring clarity, direction and creative insight to the process and remove the overwhelm and stress. I’ll listen carefully to what you want and need, challenge ideas where helpful and identify the potential in your space, including possibilities you may not have seen yourself.
Together, we’ll develop a design that feels purposeful, personal and achievable. I’ll guide you through each stage, explaining the thinking behind every decision and give you a clear understanding of what happens next.

1. Let's talk
Tell me what you’re thinking.
Get in touch for a free discovery call. Tell me about your space, what isn’t working, what you’d like to change and what you’re hoping to achieve.
You don’t need a finished brief. That’s what the conversation is for.
From here we will work out what you need
No hard sell or unnecessary design package pushes.
I’ll recommend the level of support that makes sense for your project, whether that’s a £95 Room Refresh, a complete room design, drawings and visuals, or something completely bespoke.

2. Getting to know your project
Once we’ve agreed on the right design package for you, this is where I start getting to know your space properly.
I’ll send you my design questionnaire so you can tell me about how you use the space, what isn’t working, what you’d like to change and, importantly, how you want it to feel.
You can also share your measurements, photographs, inspiration, budget and timeline, giving me everything I need to understand your project before I begin designing.
I’ll then send your design agreement and invoice, confirming exactly what’s included in your chosen package. Once everything is completed and your information is back with me, we’re ready to start.

3. Presentation of Proposal
This is the exciting bit. Your full design proposal is ready to see.
I’ll send you your completed design proposal pack, which brings together the ideas, decisions and details we’ve discussed throughout the process. It will also explain the thinking behind the design, so you can clearly see how everything has come together and why each choice has been made.
We’ll walk through it together, either in person or online, giving you the opportunity to ask questions, talk through the details and clarify anything we’ve already explored along the way. This is where all those conversations and decisions are brought together in one clear, considered proposal.
If your package includes revisions, this is also the time to fine-tune the design and make any agreed changes. The aim is for you to finish this stage feeling confident, excited and ready to bring your space to life.

As a builder, it can be difficult to bridge the gap between the build and clients vision. I've used Entas services to give my clients 2D and 3D views of their projects which has given them confidence in how the build will look when complete.
